Beşiktaş’s New Coach Has Been Announced: Notified to KAP!

Beşiktaş appointed Italian coach Vincenzo Italiano to replace Sergen Yalçın's position as head coach, and informed KAP about this transfer. Thus, a new era began in Beşiktaş.

Beşiktaş, which finished the Trendyol Super League in fourth place this season and could not perform as expected, decided to part ways after the meeting between coach Sergen Yalçın and President Serdar Adalı, and Yalçın resigned from his position. While the black-and-white team was looking for an experienced coach to fill the seat vacated by Sergen Yalçın, they started negotiations with Italian coach Vincenzo Italiano.

Following the positive outcome of the negotiations and the arrival of the Italian coach to Istanbul, a contract was signed with Italiano and the club reported this transfer to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). AN AGREEMENT WAS SIGNED UNTIL THE END OF THE 2027-2028 SEASON. 48-year-old Italiano last coached Bologna. It was learned that Beşiktaş signed an agreement with Italiano until the end of the 2027-2028 season.

Beşiktaş’s statement to KAP is as follows: “An agreement has been signed with Mr. Vincenzo Italiano to be the coach of our professional football team until the end of the 2027-2028 season.” At the same time, the announcement on the official website of the black-and-white team included the following: “We welcome our coach Vincenzo Italiano, who we believe will provide important services to our club, to the Beşiktaş family and wish him success.”
