Successful actor Boran Kuzum is preparing to appear before the audience with the character “Yusuf”, which he plays in Netflix’s US-produced series Big Mistakes.
With this project, Kuzum achieves a significant success by becoming the first Turkish actor to take part in the main cast of a Netflix series shot in the USA. Sharing the same cast with international names such as Oscar nominee Laurie Metcalf, Taylor Ortega, Jack Innanen and Abby Quinn, Kuzum not only opens a new page in her career with her performance; It also makes a strong contribution to the visibility of Turkish players on international platforms.
CHARACTER AT THE CENTER OF THE STORY: YUSUF Big Mistakes, a black comedy, tells the gripping story of two brothers who unintentionally step into the world of organized crime. Boran Kuzum, who plays “Yusuf”, one of the characters at the center of the criminal world in the series, has a decisive role in the course of the story. The actor was selected for the project through an audition via Zoom, following the script sent to him. The character, who was written as Russian in the first version of the script, was reconstructed as Turkish after Kuzum joined the cast. The character’s name was determined as “Yusuf” upon the player’s suggestion. Big Mistakes, which was completed after approximately two and a half months of shooting, is getting ready to meet audiences worldwide on Netflix on April 9.
