As part of Computex 2026, we took a closer look at Acer’s new products in the special press section at the fairground. Acer exhibited its Swift Spin 14 AI, Predator Helios 18 AI, Nitro series, Veriton workstations, professional monitors and new generation portable devices in this area. Acer exhibited its wide product family at Computex 2026. We started Acer’s stand tour at Computex 2026 with Swift Spin 14 AI. Thanks to the 360-degree foldable hinge system, classic laptop mode, tablet mode and roof mode are supported. This structure allows the device to be positioned at different angles, especially when used with an external monitor, keyboard and connection equipment. The version of Swift Spin 14 AI shown at the stand attracted attention with its Snapdragon X2 Elite platform. The model has a 14-inch 16:10 WUXGA IPS touch screen, 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory and up to 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD support.

With its metal case, slim body and portable structure, Swift Spin 14 AI was among the models at the stand that combined both laptop and tablet use in the same product. Acer also has an Intel processor-powered Swift Spin 14 AI option in the same series.

This version, which can be configured up to Intel Core Ultra 3 Series processors, supports artificial intelligence features on Windows 11. Swift Air 14, another new model in Acer’s Swift family, was introduced with Intel Core 3 Series processors. This model includes features such as a metal body, 14-inch 16:10 screen, 120 Hz refresh rate, four-speaker sound system, FHD IR camera, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. On the gaming computer side of Acer, the Predator Helios 18 AI was one of the prominent models at the stand. The model uses graphics cards up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 and processor options up to Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus. The device has a screen option that can reach 1000 nits brightness. The ability to see the screen clearly under the strong light in the fairground was the aspect of this brightness value that made the difference in the field.

The Predator Helios 18 AI has Acer’s 6th grade in its chassis. Generation AeroBlade 3D fans and advanced cooling system are used. In high-end gaming laptops, in addition to the processor and graphics card, cooling capacity is also a determining factor for performance. While the same processor and graphics card can operate with lower power values in thinner cases, larger case models such as the Predator Helios 18 AI use a larger internal volume to meet the high power consumption on the cooling side.

The gaming identity of the Predator series is also seen with the RGB lighting on the case. The lights located in the front section and around the body can be managed via Acer’s control software. Users can turn off these lights or use them with different profiles. The Nitro family also took part in the Acer stand tour. Nitro 16 models featured AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor options. AMD’s X3D processors are in a different position, especially in gaming performance, with their high cache structure.
