The official application process for seasonal worker recruitment for 2026 has not yet been started by the General Directorate of Tea Enterprises (ÇAYKUR). With the publication of recruitment announcements, application dates, staff distribution and conditions are expected to be announced through the official channels of İŞKUR and ÇAYKUR. In seasonal personnel recruitment, which takes place every year in parallel with the tea harvest period, advertisements are published for different positions such as manual workers, tea experts, disabled temporary workers and ex-convict workers.
Although a similar employment plan is expected to be on the agenda for 2026, there is no official announcement. In the evaluations made by ÇAYKUR General Directorate, it was stated that the preparations for the new season were completed and the tea purchasing campaign was planned to start as of May 15. It was stated that maintenance and preparation works in the production facilities were completed and pre-season operational processes were checked.
It was reported that within the scope of the previous regulations, up to a total of 150 personnel who had been working as temporary workers for at least 5 years or for certain periods within ÇAYKUR were given the opportunity to transition to contracted staff. This regulation will be applied based on the KPSS score ranking for employees who meet the specified conditions and the number of appointments will be limited to 150.
The calendar for ÇAYKUR 2026 seasonal worker recruitment applications is expected to be clarified in the coming period and announced to the public by official institutions. Once the application process, conditions and staff distribution are announced, it will be accessible through İŞKUR’s e-branch system.
