CTech, a subsidiary of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), which develops satellite and line-of-sight communication technologies in the fields of defense and aerospace, continues to strengthen its presence in the international market. According to the statement made by the company, CTech signed a comprehensive product supply and cooperation agreement with its Malaysia-based local business partner AR Eastern at the Defense Services Asia (DSA) 2026 Fair held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.

Within the scope of the signed agreement, it is planned to supply the “jamming-resistant satellite communication modem family” products developed by CTech, which provide high protection against electronic warfare threats, to Malaysia. The partnership is not only limited to product supply, but also includes carrying out joint projects in the field of secure satellite communication solutions and combining technical competencies.

One of the main goals of the cooperation between the two companies was determined to be the joint evaluation of business opportunities in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region. In the collaboration process, which is planned to develop solutions suitable for regional needs, CTech’s expertise in defense communications and AR Eastern’s system integration capabilities are expected to create synergy. CTech’s technological competence in this field was internationally registered in 2024, when NATO preferred “SecureARX” products for secure satellite communications.

“The agreement will pave the way for new collaborations” CTech General Manager Cüneyd Fırat, whose views were included in the statement, emphasized that the cooperation they established with AR Eastern in Malaysia is one of the important steps of the company’s international growth strategy. Fırat said: “We aim to respond to the increasing regional need for our secure and uninterrupted communication technologies with strong local business partnerships.

We believe that this agreement will strengthen our presence in the ASEAN region and pave the way for new collaborations.” Source: AA
