Doruk Mining workers started the protest in the past weeks, stating that they were only paid for 2 months out of 12 months, and this action made a big impact throughout Türkiye. At the meeting held under the guarantorship of the Ministry, it was promised that the wages to be paid to the workers would be paid as soon as possible, and then the protests ended. However, the workers stated that the promises made to them were not fulfilled and announced that they would protest again in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on June 1, at 11:00.

WORKERS WILL NOT LEAVE ANKARA UNTIL THE PROBLEMS ARE SOLVED. Independent Maden-İş Union announced that after the action carried out by Doruk Madencilik in Ankara and ended on June 28, they will start the action again, stating that the promises made by the company were not kept. According to the information obtained, the workers will not leave Ankara until the problems are solved and the grievances are eliminated, after the meeting with the representatives of the guarantor ministries and SSK and Yıldızlar Holding officials.
