JERUSALEM (AA) – The Israeli army killed a Palestinian after allegedly trying to run him over with a vehicle near the city of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
In the statement made by the Israeli army, it was claimed that there was an attempt to crush the vehicle with a vehicle at the Gush Etzion intersection in the south of the city of Bethlehem.
The Israeli army announced that a Palestinian resident of the city of Hebron, who they claimed attempted to run over with a vehicle, died as a result of fire opened by soldiers.
Additionally, the Israeli emergency aid service, the Red Star of David, reported that two Israelis were injured in the incident, one seriously.
In the statement made by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, it was announced that the Palestinian killed by Israeli soldiers was 31-year-old Emced Javad Abdülfettah Netshe.
On the other hand, Israeli media reported that following the incident, the Israeli army closed highway number 60 in the West Bank to two-way traffic.
