Norway and Ukraine signed a declaration on cooperation in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) production. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, who visited Norway’s capital Oslo after Germany, met with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store. In his statement to Norwegian broadcaster NRK, Store stated that they signed a declaration with Zelenskiy on industrial cooperation, and in this context, Norway will support UAV production in Ukraine and Ukraine will share data and information.
Reminding that Norway has always supported Ukraine, Store said that lessons should be learned from Ukraine’s experiences in its fight against Russia. Store noted that Ukrainian-made UAVs will also be produced in Norway and this is extremely important. Sharing on the US-based X social media account, Zelenskiy stated that they discussed the production of UAVs in detail and noted that the teams will carry out detailed studies within the scope of the signed declaration.
