While a detention order was issued for 25 people within the scope of the investigation, it was learned that singer Tan Taşçı was among the names taken. According to Burak Doğan’s news, Tan Taşçı was detained in Muğla. Following the development, the famous singer made a statement on his social media account.

Taşçı stated that he was surprised by stating that he learned from social media and magazine news that his name was mentioned in the investigation. Tan Taşçı made the following statements in his statement: “Like you, I learned from social media and magazines that I was involved in the mentioned banned substance operation. Frankly, I am also surprised. I am currently at my home in Bodrum and about to move to Izmir for our planned concerts.

I am following the official process on the subject through my lawyer and waiting for detailed information from him. There is no disruption or cancellation regarding our planned concerts at the moment. I will share the developments with you directly as they become clear. As a result of my meeting with my lawyer, I return from Izmir road and go to Bodrum Gendarmerie Command to take the necessary procedures. I would like to state that I respect all decisions to be made within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
