While it was stated that many famous actors and musicians were detained in the new operation carried out in line with the drug investigation, the detention of Volkan Bahçekapılı also drew attention. Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, a total of 35 addresses in Istanbul and Muğla were raided by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams. It was learned that action was taken against a total of 25 people, including Mabel Matiz, Feyza Civelek, Onur Tuna and Serenay Sarıkaya, as well as Volkan Bahçekapılı, among the names detained during the operation.
SUFFICIENT SUSPICION HAS CREATED While action was taken in line with the reports, digital materials and information obtained within the scope of the investigation, it was noted that the prosecutor’s office came to the conclusion that there was sufficient suspicion that some names were using drugs and stimulants. It was stated that the detained suspects will first undergo a health check, and then a drug test will be performed at the Forensic Medicine Institute.
