TBILISI (AA) – The Voices from Anatolia to the Caucasus concert, where Anatolian, Black Sea and Caucasian melodies came together, was held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. The Voices from Anatolia to the Caucasus concert, featuring artists from Türkiye and Georgia, was held in the concert hall of Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University. Türkiye’s Ambassador to Tbilisi Mustafa Türker Arı, Georgian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lasha Darsalia, diplomats, representatives of Turkish institutions in Georgia, Turkish citizens in Tbilisi, students and many guests attended the concert program that took place in the evening.
Addressing the audience of the concert organized by Tbilisi Yunus Emre Institute (YEE), Ambassador Arı thanked everyone who contributed to the realization of the program. Arı stated that Türkiye and Georgia are two friendly and strategic partner countries and that the two sides want to further strengthen these relations. Stating that friendship between peoples is the basis of Türkiye and Georgia relations, Arı said, “There are great common points between the cultures of the two countries.
I think the best example of this is music. he said. At the concert organized with the contributions of Türkiye’s Embassy in Tbilisi, Turkish Airlines (THY) and Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University, the repertoire consisting of selected works from Türkiye and Georgia was presented to the audience. At the concert, Georgian-Turkish musician Gökhan Özkan and American artist Audrey Wozniak and Ivlisi Band shared the stage.
