A dead body was found in a house entered upon smell in Düzce.

DÜZCE (AA) – A body was found during an investigation by police teams upon the smell coming from an apartment building in Düzce.

The police and fire brigade were notified when a smell came from the ground floor of the apartment building on 862 Street in Aziziye District.

The teams arriving at the scene first thought that the smell was a natural gas leak and cut off the gas of the apartment line. Later, the teams entered the house, determining that the smell was coming from the apartment of 68-year-old Hüseyin Taraf, who lives alone.

In the investigation, it was determined that Taraf died.

Taraf’s body was taken to the morgue of Düzce University Faculty of Medicine Training Research and Practice Hospital to determine the exact cause of death after the prosecutor’s office examination.

It was stated that Taraf, who was learned to be a retired teacher and lived alone, was not seen after celebrating the holiday with his neighbors on the first day of the holiday.
