ASELSAN adds new capabilities to the Multi-Layered Air Defense System ÇELİKKUBBE, defined as a system of systems. ASELSAN continued to introduce its new generation technologies, developed with national resources, to the public at the SAHA 2026 International Defense, Aviation and Space Industry Fair held in Istanbul. ASELSAN showcased for the first time the ILGAR 3-LT Combat Electronic Warfare System and KORAL AD Air Defense Electronic Warfare System, MİĞFER Self-Defense FPV Interception System, GÖKALP Autonomous Kinetic Drone Destruction System, GÖKBERK 10 Laser Weapon System and EJDERHA 210 High Power Microwave Weapon System, which will provide new capabilities to ÇELİKKUBBE in SAHA.
Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, SSB President Prof. attended the launch ceremony. Dr. Haluk Görgün and ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol attended. ILGAR, which will take its place among the technologies that will provide superiority in the electromagnetic spectrum, will provide sudden attack and uninterrupted control. ILGAR, which takes its name from “fast and sudden attack”, was developed for the purpose of applying Electronic Attack (ET) to target communication systems communicating in V/UHF and SHF (partial) frequency bands on different platforms.
The system is used to provide an advantage to friendly troops in the tactical field by preventing, delaying target frequency band communications or causing false information to be transmitted. Reactive jamming applicable against frequency hopping signals, infrastructure to protect friendly radio frequencies, electronic support to support jamming, signal direction estimation and location finding, and electronic attack capabilities on the move are among the critical features of the system.
KORAL, which has a game-changing effect in air defense, draws attention as a Land-Based Mobile Radar Electronic Warfare system that combines electronic support and electronic attack subsystems on the same platform. The system reduces the coverage areas of the target air and ground radars it detects. It also implements electronic attacks in the form of deception or confusion within certain periods of time. KORAL, with its features, detects and diagnoses threat air and land platform radars that will be used for electronic attack, and creates its own broadcast list with its identification and detailed detection functions.
There is no passage to threats in Gök Vatan. With the GÖKALP System, which draws attention as a drone hunting drone, it is integrated into the detection-diagnosis-tracking chain against FPV and kamikaze drone threats; A high-speed interceptor drone was developed using low-cost industrial products, working on the principle of destruction by kinetic impact. GÖKBERK System stands out as a directed energy air defense weapon system designed to provide a defense solution against near-field air threats.
The primary areas of use of the system include land platforms, power plants, critical facilities and headquarters buildings. While the destruction of targets is provided by the laser source with 10 kW output power on the system, there are electro-optics and sensors in the guidance unit that allow the system to operate 24 hours a day. The basic target set on which the system is effective includes fixed and rotary wing UAVs and improvised explosive devices.
MİĞFER Self-Defense FPV Prevention System, which is among ASELSAN’s game-changing technologies, was introduced for the first time at SAHA as part of the launch on the 4×4 Armored Vehicle. MİĞFER was designed as a defense system for platforms such as 4×4, 6×6 and tanks against targets in the mini-micro UAV class. The physical destruction subsystem included in the system solution destroys the threat by physical destruction (hard-kill).
DRAGON shield against swarm UAVs The DRAGON 210 High Power Microwave Weapon System, developed by ASELSAN, neutralizes mini/micro UAVs that attack as a swarm, using high-power electromagnetic wave technology. Having doubled its range, DRAGON has turned into a self-contained system with its newly added radar, more advanced electro-optical systems and more advanced interference effect.
