Acer announced new mobile gaming products as part of Computex 2026. At the center of the series is the Predator Helios 18 AI. The model, which comes with an 18-inch Mini LED screen, Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, up to 256 GB memory and up to 6 TB storage support, has become Acer’s new flagship gaming laptop. Listed with Windows 11 Home and Windows 11 Pro options, the laptop comes with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor in the top configuration. On the graphics side, there is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU option. This GPU is offered with 24 GB GDDR7 VRAM. The new model comes with the GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPU family using NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. Acer’s announcement included the information that the RTX 50 Series offers AI-accelerated graphics features on the gaming and content production side, increases performance with NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 support and accelerates visual production processes.
On the memory side, Predator Helios 18 AI offers DDR5 RAM support of up to 256 GB. On the storage side, up to 6 TB of total space is provided. This configuration can be installed via three PCIe Gen 5 NVMe SSD slots. An 18-inch 16:10 Mini LED panel is used on the screen side.
