RIZE (AA) – Ali Zeki Saruhan became the new president of Çaykur Rizespor Club. Saruhan, who was the only candidate at the club’s 95th extraordinary congress held at the İsmail Kahraman Cultural Center, was unanimously elected as the president when the delegates in the hall raised their cards. In his speech, Ali Zeki Saruhan stated that Çaykur Rizespor is a very strong structure with common memory traditions and administrative continuity.
Reminding that he served as vice president of the club in the past years, Saruhan said, “I was given the opportunity to analyze the administrative dynamics, financial sensitivities and sports vision of this club at the most accurate point. This experience is the strongest administrative reference of the path we will follow institutionally today.” he said. Stating that they will carry the flag they inherited with the experience of the past and modern vision into the future, Saruhan said: “Our main mission is to make Çaykur Rizespor not only a team competing on the field, but also a sustainable club structure that can stand on its own feet in every field, guaranteeing its future.
Our vision is clear. To present Çaykur Rizespor as an exemplary management model for Turkish football with its administrative, financial and sports achievements. “The most unshakable cornerstone of this vision will be to create a smooth, transparent and debt-free balance sheet at Super League standards.” Stating that they will never compromise on budget discipline in the new period, Ali Zeki Saruhan said, “Preserving economic sustainability means securing the independence and future of this club.
By maintaining our financial stability, we will not drag Çaykur Rizespor into an uncontrolled debt purchase under any circumstances. Our financial discipline will be the biggest helper of our rational and sustainable sports achievements on the field. “We will implement a rational staff engineering based entirely on scientific data, away from populist transfer approaches.” he said. Expressing his goals for Çaykur Rizespor, Saruhan said, “Our neighbor built sports complexes in Istanbul.
