KoçDigital and Microsoft Türkiye announced their strategic cooperation to support the artificial intelligence-focused transformation processes of institutions. KoçDigital Deputy Chairman Mehmet Ali Akarca, KoçDigital General Manager Evren Dereci, Microsoft Southern Europe General Manager Kristina Tikhonova and Microsoft Turkey General Manager Levent Özbilgin attended the signing ceremony held at Microsoft Turkey office.
Within the scope of the collaboration, KoçDigital’s experience in Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and supply chain will be brought together with Microsoft’s cloud and artificial intelligence technologies. The parties aim to develop customized artificial intelligence solutions according to the needs of institutions operating in different sectors in Turkey. Agentic AI, Industrial AI and Physical AI will be the focus.
In the cooperation of KoçDigital and Microsoft Turkey, the topics Agentic AI, Industrial AI and Physical AI stand out. These fields show that AI is not just for data analysis or office productivity; It aims to take a more active role in production, supply chain, operations management and decision-making processes. The solutions to be developed with Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI and related Microsoft technologies are aimed to make companies’ processes faster, more efficient, sustainable and less error-prone.
Especially on the industrial artificial intelligence side, different usage scenarios may come to the fore, from production lines to field operations. Specific usage scenarios for corporations will be developed. Within the scope of the agreement, the parties will work together in areas such as determining corporate-specific AI usage scenarios, rapid prototyping, pilot project development, training programs, hackathons and technical support activities.
This approach aims to reduce the “general solution” problem that is common in artificial intelligence projects. Usage scenarios customized according to the sectoral needs of institutions; It can be evaluated under different headings such as production efficiency, stock and supply chain optimization, maintenance processes, forecasting, decision support systems and employee productivity. An industrial artificial intelligence ecosystem is targeted in Turkey.
KoçDigital Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Mehmet Ali Akarca stated that Turkey’s strong industrial infrastructure can create a significant competitive advantage when combined with artificial intelligence. Akarca stated that the collaboration is important for the development of the industrial artificial intelligence ecosystem in Turkey, as well as accelerating the digital transformation of institutions. KoçDigital General Manager Evren Dereci emphasized that artificial intelligence is no longer just a technology investment for institutions, but a new way of doing business that determines their competitiveness.
According to Dereci, the goal is to move artificial intelligence to a structure that produces concrete business results and turns into scalable value. Scalability will be decisive in artificial intelligence projects. Microsoft Southern Europe General Manager Kristina Tikhonova stated that the combination of Microsoft’s cloud and artificial intelligence technologies with KoçDigital’s sector and application competencies will contribute to the industrial artificial intelligence ecosystem in Turkey.
Microsoft Turkey General Manager Levent Özbilgin said that artificial intelligence creates new areas of growth and competition for institutions. Özbilgin stated that institutions in different sectors can develop more efficient, sustainable and innovative models by integrating artificial intelligence into their business processes. The real success in artificial intelligence projects will be measured by ensuring that the technology does not remain only in trial projects and turns into scalable business results within the institution.
Therefore, the impact of KoçDigital and Microsoft Türkiye cooperation; How quickly the pilot projects to be developed can be carried into real operations will become clear with measurable efficiency gains and sector-based expansion performance.
