Anthropic, which operates in the field of artificial intelligence, made an official application to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) within the scope of the public offering (IPO) process.
It was stated that the company made the application by confidential filing method. Due to this method, critical information such as financial details and planned share structure regarding the public offering process were not shared with the public.
In the statement made by Anthropic, it was stated that the registration document submitted to the SEC was submitted confidentially. This practice allows companies to advance regulatory processes without publicly disclosing certain information ahead of an IPO.
It is stated that the company is in the evaluation phase within the scope of the process and more information may be disclosed with regulatory approvals in the future.
