Actor Görkem Sevindik, who attracted attention with the character “Kadir” he played in the TV series Eşref Rüya broadcast on Kanal D, is preparing to appear before the audience with his new cinema project. It was announced that Sevindik will star as the leading actor in the horror movie “Kantin”, produced by Kem Yapım. The shooting of the film, produced by Kemal Balçık, is planned to start in Istanbul in the second week of June.
While Gökhan Arı was sitting in the director’s chair, the script was written by Uğur Güvercin. It was stated that Görkem Sevindik will portray the character named “Doctor” in the new project. The story takes place in 1999 in a former male student dormitory at Kütahya Dumlupınar University. The events in the film begin with the character named Murat crossing paths with the leader of the group known as “Doctor”. It will stand out with its horror genre production atmosphere and period setting.
Shooting will start in June. It was learned that the team will go on set in June after the preparation process of the movie “Kantin” is completed. Other names of the project’s cast are expected to be announced in the coming days. Görkem Sevindik, who appeared before the audience with different characters in television and digital platform projects, previously took part in productions such as Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, Söz, Ramo, Ateş Kuşları and Eşkıya Dünyaya Ruler Olmaz.
