Great interest from citizens to TCG Anadolu, which was opened to visitors within the scope of SAHA 2026

The multi-purpose amphibious ship TCG Anadolu, belonging to the Naval Forces Command, which was opened to citizens within the scope of SAHA 2026 International Defense, Aerospace Industry Fair, attracted great attention. Citizens who wanted to see the ship anchored in Sarayburnu Port created a crowd at the entrance of the port from the early hours of the morning. After security checks, visitors began to be taken onto the ship in groups at 10:00.

Visitors, including children, students, families, and local and foreign tourists, had the opportunity to closely examine Turkey’s local and national warship, TCG Anadolu. Citizens examined the local and national defense industry products exhibited on the ship, received information from the personnel on duty, and also took a souvenir photo on the deck of the ship. 10-year-old Aras Özay, who visited TCG Anadolu and recorded it with a camera, said that he wanted to be an engineer working in the military field.

Father Suat Özay also said, “We are proud. We were always wondering, and today we got the chance. The more we see, the more our feelings of nationalism rise. We want to see ourselves further ahead.” he said. Stating that he came from Izmit to see the ship, Nihat Kırca said: “We are very honored and proud. It is a great honor to see such a work.
