Kral Arms International Sales Executive Burak Özpınar made special statements to Defensehere. Evaluating the global goals, innovations in the product range and export strategy of Kral Arms, one of the leading brands of the Turkish arms industry, Özpınar emphasized that they have a customer network in more than 80 countries. Özpınar particularly drew attention to their newly developed 5.56×45 mm platform with piston system.

Stating that this system, called KR 5.56, offers flexibility to users with different barrel lengths, Özpınar shared the following information: “We are exhibiting our products with our new calibers. Today, we have a product with a piston system with a diameter of 5.56×45. Here we have a model with a gas system, which we call KR 5.56, with its old design underneath. We have a 7.62×39 caliber AK platform. This is our 5.56 system with a gas piston.” There are also barrel sizes of 14.5 and 11 inches, 16 inches and 18 inches.

Diversity is increasing in the global market. Stating that Kral Arms is not limited to military and police equipment only, Burak Özpınar said that they have increased the diversity in a wide range from tactical rifles to pistol groups and said: “In the pistol group, we want to expand our pistol group to Kr 380 ACP 9mm, 22 caliber and in the future.
