In his special statement to Defensehere, Transvaro Sales Operations Officer Emre Akdağ gave information about the company’s activities in the field of electro-optics and the systems it developed. Stating that the company has been operating in the defense industry since 1993, Akdağ stated that Transvaro has developed solutions especially in the fields of night vision, thermal imaging, border security and electro-optical systems.
Akdağ drew attention to the MANUS sniper direction detection system, one of the company’s prominent products, and emphasized that the system was developed to detect the location of snipers in the field. Stating that MANUS, which also has a handheld version, offers high portability, Akdağ stated that the system can quickly identify threat elements in a wide area. Stating that the product in question can be developed by a limited number of companies in the sector, Akdağ said that Transvaro stands out with its competence in this field.
