Fettahlıoğlu stated that the COBRA II vehicle is an armored vehicle with different and high protection capabilities, produced in NATO standards, and said, “It has been exported to more than thirteen countries in the world and used by more than twenty users.” Emphasizing that more than 270 vehicles have been delivered to the end user so far within the scope of the Romania project, Yusuf Fettahlıoğlu said, “We had planned to start mass production in June from the second year.” “The vehicle exhibited at DSDA 2026 is the first Turkish armored vehicle produced within the borders of the EU” Yusuf Fettahlıoğlu, who particularly pointed out that the vehicle exhibited at the OTOKAR stand at the fair is the first COBRA II vehicle produced in Romania, said, “This vehicle is also the first Turkish armored vehicle produced within the borders of the European Union.” Stating that their commitment to deliver the targeted units on time in the next stages of the project will continue, Fettahlıoğlu explained that COBRA II has attracted a lot of attention due to its superior mobility as well as high protection.
