“FAR CITY” SET OPENED ITS DOORS TO CHILDREN. The shooting plateau of Kanal D’s record-breaking series, Uzak Şehir, in Midyat hosted children from TEGV Midyat Learning Unit. Children who visited the set upon the invitation of Ozan Akbaba, who played the character of Cihan Albora in the series, had the opportunity to closely explore behind the scenes. The little ones observed how the scenes were prepared and received information about shooting techniques from director Emre Aybek.
THEY SANG A TURKISH BETWEEN THE SHOOTING The children, who sang the folk song “Mardinli Güzel Yarim” with Ozan Akbaba, had a pleasant time during the shooting. The students then chatted with Sinem Ünsal, Gonca Cilasun, Atakan Özkaya, Alper Çankaya and Dilin Döğer. Gonca Cilasun drew attention to the importance of reading books to children. The players also celebrated the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day of TEGV children.
MUTUAL GIFTS WERE GIVEN During the visit, gifts were exchanged between the children and the players. The keychains handcrafted by Elif Aksöz brought emotional moments to the Far City players. Famous names also gifted toys to children. The day ended with taking souvenir photos. Uzun Şehir, directed by AyNa Yapım, is on Kanal D with its new episode on Monday evening at 20.00.
