On May 11, Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office issued a detention order for 25 people, including Serenay Sarıkaya, within the scope of a drug investigation against celebrities. Sarıkaya, who was abroad, stated that he would return to Turkey and testify. The actor was detained in Istanbul after his return to Turkey today.
HE MADE A STATEMENT
Making his first statement after the detention decision was made, Sarıkaya said, “I received the news while I was on a trip abroad that I had been planning for a long time. I will return to Turkey as soon as possible and fulfill all the necessary procedures. I am fine, there is no problem. Best regards to everyone who is wondering.”
It was stated that Sarıkaya will be tested for drugs after her procedures at the police station and the test results are expected to be known in the coming days.
