After the court’s absolute nullity decision regarding the CHP congress, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took the chairmanship again. While this development caused controversy within the party, it was stated that the reactions towards Kılıçdaroğlu were also increasing. Making a statement after the process, Özgür Özel argued that Kılıçdaroğlu should take the party to the congress within 40 days and the delegates should go to the polls again.

It was also claimed that preparations were made for a new party in case Kılıçdaroğlu does not take the CHP to an extraordinary congress. THE NAME MAY CHANGE According to the information spoken behind the scenes, it is claimed that if a new party is established, the name of the party will be “Independence Party”. However, it is stated that this name is still evaluated in a narrow circle and may change in the process. On the other hand, it is stated that Özgür Özel’s priority is not to establish a new party, but to ensure that the CHP goes to the congress again.

In this context, it was learned that approximately 900 delegates collected signatures and that these signatures would be delivered to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and that CHP would be invited to the congress within 15 days. On the other hand, it was learned that the newly established party must fulfill the conditions determined by the political parties law and the YSK in order to participate in the elections, and that the party must have established its organization in half of the 81 provinces, that is, in 41 cities, at least 6 months before the voting day.
