ISTANBUL (AA) – AK Party Istanbul Provincial Directorate made a press statement on the occasion of June 5 World Environment Day. AK Party Istanbul Provincial Vice President and Head of Environment and Urbanization Policies Zakire Nurdoğan Kaptanoğlu touched upon the importance of the zero waste movement in the press release.

Kaptanoğlu said: ‘2053 Net Zero Emission Target’, put forward under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is not only an environmental policy, but the green resurrection manifesto of the Turkey Century. The Zero Waste Movement, which grew under the auspices of First Lady Emine Erdoğan, is a global environmental mobilization that has become the common conscience of millions of people today.
