Luxury cars burned in the fire in Bakırköy

ISTANBUL (AA) – The fire that broke out in parked cars in Istanbul’s Bakırköy district was extinguished by firefighters.

A fire broke out for an unknown reason in the area where luxury cars are located in front of a gallery on Yeşilköy Street in Yeşilköy District.

The flames, which completely engulfed a car, soon spread to other vehicles parked next to it.

Upon notice, fire brigade, police and medical teams were dispatched to the specified address.

The police closed the street to traffic and took extensive security measures.

In the fire, which was extinguished as a result of the interventions, 2 cars were completely burned and 2 cars were partially damaged.

Police teams took the surrounding security camera records to examine the incident in case it was arson.
