– “Our relations, which once progressed with just a few topics, have now reached more than 30 sectors and topics.

ANKARA (AA) – AK Party Deputy Chairman and Head of Relations with Turkish States Kürşad Zorlu said, “Our relations, which once progressed with only a few topics, have now reached more than 30 sectors and topics. A very intense Turkish world activity is carried out directly and indirectly within almost all our Ministries.” he said. In cooperation with the EcoEurasia Foundation, the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), the Turkic World Civil Society Cooperation Association (TURKSIT) and the Political Strategies Research Center (POLSAM), the “New Horizons in Turkic World Integration: Strategic Vision Towards a Common Future” symposium was organized on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Turkic Republics.

Speaking at the symposium at TURKSOY General Secretariat, Zorlu emphasized that the goals of unity with the Turkish states celebrating the 35th anniversary of their independence have moved to a very important point and that the Turkish world always continues to move towards a goal. – “The most important thing that connects us to each other is our language and our ancient culture.” Recalling the programs held last year for the Turkish world, Zorlu stated that the Organization of Turkish States (TDT) organized more than 150 events, approximately 30 of which were high-level meetings.

Zorlu continued his words as follows: “We are pleased to see that our relations, which once progressed with only a few topics, have now reached more than 30 sectors and topics. A very intense Turkish world activity is carried out directly and indirectly within almost all of our Ministries. And at the point we have reached, in line with the vision of our President, we do not consider the Turkish world only as the Organization of Turkish States, we are talking about a wide geography of hearts.

The most important thing that connects us to each other is our language and ancient culture.” – “We are gathering all our non-governmental organizations in a digital environment” Zorlu stated that they continued their work intensively this year as the Presidency of Relations with Turkish States and said: “Hopefully, we are implementing our two important projects. We have completed the software of the Turkish World Civil Society Support System (TÜDSES) project, which we have been working on for a while.

We gather all our non-governmental organizations in a digital environment. We will make a big promotion in Istanbul on June 23. It was a project in which we determined that the civil society power and potential of the Turkish world is very important, but our unity is not that intense. We completed this. Hopefully, from the moment you press the button that day, this digital system envisages a mechanism where all our non-governmental organizations can interact with each other, explain their problems, and convey their problems and requests to the institutions in our relevant states.

“We will have implemented this.” Zorlu announced that the Turkish World Youth Camp will be held in Kocaeli on July 3-5. Drawing attention to the importance of economic cooperation, Zorlu stated that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) Railway has reached full capacity, and the Zangezur Corridor and Caspian Pipeline and Development Road Project and the Hejaz Railway Project are continuing. Underlining that this is a great picture of hope, Zorlu said, “A system consisting of an economic, energy-oriented trade network that will carry the connection and interdependence relationship of the Turkish world for many years is now being implemented.

We were talking before, ‘The potential of a container departing from the Chinese border to go to the backs of Europe, crossing the oceans’. Now we are creating a new line. It has become much more realized with the effect of the recent war. Now, we are creating a new line that will open the Turkish world towards the Middle East and the Gulf, Turkey.” “We will strive to bring it to life with a connectivity that has the Republic at its centre.” he said.

Zorlu also touched upon the unity of language and culture, stating that the Turkish language is very rich and that he believes that steps will be taken quickly regarding the common alphabet, terminology and communication language. Kürşad Zorlu noted that they should make understanding a rule by speaking each other’s languages in meetings. Stating that the Turkish world should support each other in new technology elements, especially digital channels, Zorlu said, “As the State of the Republic of Turkey, our successes and the point we have reached in the defense industry, I believe, will be moved to a much different point in the future with the joint productions, productions and achievements of other Turkish states in other fields.” he said.

At the opening of the symposium, TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf, EcoEurasia Foundation Chairman of the Board of Directors Hikmet Eren, POLSAM Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahmet Doğanses and TURKSIT Chairman of the Board of Directors Kemal Kurnaz made speeches. After the speeches, the symposium continued with sessions.
