Our goal is to brand at least 8 young individuals and monitor them via satellite for 1 year. If we can prove that Manavgat beaches are a feeding area, we can significantly reduce mortality rates by protecting these areas. he said. Pointing out that caretta carettas can breed on every coast of the Mediterranean, but the population of green sea turtles is at a much more critical level, Deval stated that green sea turtles mostly nest in the Mediterranean only on the coasts of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Türkiye’s narrow coastline between Antalya and Samandağ.
