NVIDIA announced the RTX Spark platform developed for Windows PCs together with Microsoft. The new platform will be used on Windows laptops and compact desktop systems that run artificial intelligence agents directly on the computer. RTX Spark comes with 1 petaflop artificial intelligence performance, Blackwell-based RTX GPU, 20-core Grace CPU and unified memory support up to 128 GB. NVIDIA RTX Spark begins the era of local artificial intelligence on Windows PCsNVIDIA RTX Spark represents the company’s transition to a new era not only on the graphics card side, but also on the main processing unit at the center of Windows PCs.

The platform combines CPU, GPU, memory and AI acceleration side in a single super chip structure. NVIDIA introduced RTX Spark as one of the first PC platforms prepared for personal artificial intelligence agents running on Windows. At the center of the new platform is the NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU. The chip features 6,144 CUDA cores and fifth-generation Tensor cores with FP4 precision support. The GPU side works with a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU via NVIDIA NVLink-C2C connection.

MediaTek worked with NVIDIA in the Arm-based custom CPU design. RTX Spark offers combined memory support of up to 128 GB. This memory structure allows the CPU and GPU to access the same memory pool in artificial intelligence models, creative workflows, 3D scenes and high-resolution video editing processes. NVIDIA announced that the new platform can natively run large language models with 120 billion parameters with a context window of up to 1 million tokens.

The Microsoft and NVIDIA collaboration also includes the security layer for personal agents running on Windows. New Windows security components; It enables agents to work in a restricted manner within the system on identity, coverage, policy and end-to-end security. NVIDIA OpenShell runtime determines what actions agents can perform according to user policies, directs queries between local models and cloud models according to privacy rules, and allows personal information to be hidden in queries sent to the cloud.

This structure allows agents to run tasks within Windows applications, follow workflows between applications, produce images and videos, code plug-ins and applications, and perform semantic searches on local files. More information about Windows agent features, new security components and NVIDIA OpenShell will be shared within the scope of Microsoft Build. RTX Spark brings together NVIDIA’s RTX software and hardware ecosystem on a single platform for creative professionals, artificial intelligence developers and gamers.

Platform; It brings NVIDIA technologies such as CUDA, RTX, DLSS, FP4, TensorRT, OptiX, Reflex and G-SYNC to Windows laptops and compact desktop computers. According to the usage scenarios shared by NVIDIA, RTX Spark systems can process 3D scenes over 90 GB with OptiX and DLSS. The platform also offers 12K 4:2:2 video editing with NVIDIA Blackwell video codec, 4K artificial intelligence video production and ray tracing, 100 FPS+ AAA gaming experience at 1440p resolution with DLSS and Reflex support.

New RTX features also come with RTX Spark. DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction will be added to Blender 5.3 and many games with the second generation transformer model. On the RTX Video side, 4x Frame Generation support is being prepared for ComfyUI. NVIDIA stated that RTX technologies offer performance, image quality and artificial intelligence features in more than 1,000 games and applications. There are more than 100 Windows software providers and game developers on the platform side.

The list shared by NVIDIA includes Adobe, Blackmagic Design, Blender, CapCut, ComfyUI, OTOY, KRAFTON, NetEase, Remedy Entertainment, Riot Games and XBOX. According to the information provided by The Verge, software such as Blender, DaVinci Resolve, Maxon Cinema4D, Maxon Redshift, Topaz Photo, CapCut, Cubase, Bitwig Studio and Affinity by Canva run natively on Arm. Adobe is carrying out a special restructuring process for RTX Spark on the Premiere and Photoshop side.

According to NVIDIA, hundreds of accelerated tools, including Firefly-powered Generative Fill and Generative Extend in Premiere, will run faster with RTX Spark. The company shared information about up to 2x performance increase in artificial intelligence, editing, color and effects processes in creative workflows. Adobe Premiere will use a new video pipeline that takes advantage of RTX Spark’s combined memory, Blackwell GPU and TensorRT software.

This structure; It is geared for editing, color correction, GPU-accelerated AI operations, and more efficient processing of complex timelines. Substance 3D Painter and Stager will also run natively on RTX Spark. On the Photoshop side, the new generation engine is optimized for GPU-accelerated compositing. Live filters, high dynamic range and modern natural brush features will be supported by this engine. Adobe will offer Premiere, Photoshop and Substance updates with the release of RTX Spark systems.

RTX Spark laptops will come with 14 to 16 inch screen options. NVIDIA announced that these systems will be prepared with designs as thin as 14 millimeters and as light as approximately 1.36 kilograms. The devices will feature precision-machined aluminum cases, tandem OLED displays with high color accuracy and NVIDIA G-SYNC support. Compact desktop systems will also be part of the RTX Spark platform. NVIDIA defines these computers as small and efficient systems prepared for artificial intelligence agents, creative workloads, gaming and daily productivity scenarios.

RTX Spark-based laptops and compact desktops will be released in the fall of 2026 by ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface and MSI. Acer and GIGABYTE models will arrive later. The model list cited by The Verge includes ASUS ProArt P14 and P16, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook It was reported that the first devices will be placed in the premium price band. NVIDIA and Microsoft did not share a clear list of the prices of these systems.

RTX Spark uses an Arm-based architecture. For this reason, old Windows software developed for Intel and AMD’s x86 processors will run through the emulation layer. The improvements made by Microsoft on the Windows on Arm and Prism emulator side will be one of the main topics on the software compatibility side of RTX Spark systems. Windows on Arm support is also expanding on the gaming side. According to The Verge, Riot Games is bringing League of Legends and Valorant to Windows on Arm.

KRAFTON is working on PUBG support. NVIDIA is working with more developers using Easy Anti-Cheat, BattlEye and Denuvo. Fortnite had previously received Windows on Arm support. NVIDIA did not share a detailed independent benchmark table for RTX Spark. Speaking to The Verge, NVIDIA manager Mark Aevermann said that depending on the application, a performance close to the RTX 5070 mobile GPU level can be expected on the graphics side.

In the same statement, it was stated that the chip can go down to low single-digit wattage levels and go up to 80 watts at the upper limit. No additional discrete graphics card will be used in RTX Spark systems. Since the platform combines the CPU and GPU sides in a single chip architecture, the traditional structure matching a separate NVIDIA graphics card will not be used in desktop models. NVIDIA did not share clear information about Linux driver support and devices in the form of portable game consoles.
