DÜZCE (AA) – Efteni Lake Bird Sanctuary, located in Gölyaka district of Düzce, was among the places preferred by nature lovers over the weekend.
Efteni Lake Bird Sanctuary, approximately 25 kilometers away from the city center, offers natural beauties to its visitors who want to spend their weekend holidays in quiet places.
Those who visited the area, which is on the migration route of birds with its rich vegetation and water resources, walked around the lake and recorded the natural beauties with their mobile phone cameras.
The bird observation tower located right next to the lake allows guests to watch the unique view of the region from a height.
The lake and its surroundings, where 2,111 birds of 22 species were recorded in 2024, host nature lovers, especially from Istanbul and Ankara, due to its location close to big cities.
