The studies carried out within the Turkish defense industry on the unique power systems of air platforms will be revealed at SAHA 2026. SAHA 2026 International Defense, Aerospace Industry Fair, organized by SAHA Istanbul, Turkey’s and Europe’s largest defense, aviation and space industry cluster, will be held at Istanbul Expo Center on 5-9 May. In the 14th news of Anadolu Agency’s file titled “The heart of technology will beat in FIELD”, developments regarding the main engine and auxiliary power systems for aircraft were included.

TRMOTOR, which operates within the Turkish defense industry, will take part in the SAHA Fair with its own stand for the first time, and will share with industry stakeholders its goal of integrating the domestic power systems it has developed in the field of aviation into different platforms, especially KAAN, and the test infrastructure studies it carries out in this context. Within the scope of the fair, unique auxiliary power unit (APU) technologies, product development processes, test infrastructures and engineering capabilities will be conveyed to visitors.

“Mock-ups” of original power systems prepared on a one-to-one scale will be exhibited throughout SAHA 2026, and TRMOTOR’s engineering discipline extending from design to testing will be highlighted. Within the scope of B2B meetings to be held during the fair, TRMOTOR will evaluate cooperation opportunities with industry stakeholders. Procurement processes will be discussed within the scope of potential collaborations with many companies in line with SAHA MATCH matches.

Promotion and signing ceremony TRMOTOR will attract attention with the signing ceremony and power systems promotion it will hold within the scope of SAHA 2026. At the launch, where original power systems will be introduced, the structure of auxiliary power units and air turbine starter systems that meet high performance requirements, their ability to be used on platforms, and domestic engineering infrastructure will be highlighted.

Within the scope of the fair, a signing ceremony will be held with suppliers for subsystems within the scope of the TF35000 Turbofan Engine Development Project for the National Combat Aircraft KAAN. With this ceremony, TRMOTOR aims to make its collaborations in the field of engine technologies more visible. “Our testing processes are progressing as planned” TRMOTOR General Manager Prof. Dr. Osman Saim Dinç stated that they focused on integrating the power systems they developed in the field of aviation into different platforms, especially KAAN.

Dinç said, “While our testing processes are progressing as planned, we continue our development activities within the framework of engineering discipline. In this process, we are also bringing critical testing infrastructures to our country.” he said. Osman Saim Dinç also emphasized that SAHA 2026 is an important meeting point that brings together the stakeholders of the defense and aviation ecosystem and supports their collaboration.
