Samsun Yurt Defense (SYS Grup) will exhibit the CANiK M3 FALCON heavy machine gun for the first time at the SAHA 2026 Fair to be held on 5-9 May. SAHA Expo 2026, which has become one of the largest defense, aviation and space industry meetings of Turkey and the region, will open its doors in Istanbul between 5-9 May this year. SYS Group, the global player of the Turkish defense industry, will launch new products within the scope of the fair and deepen its international collaborations with the vision of “integrated defense ecosystem”.
SYS Group’s biggest surprise at SAHA 2026 will be the highly engineered CANiK M3 FALCON. The new generation 12.7×99 mm heavy machine gun, developed especially considering the harsh operational needs of air platforms, will be exhibited for the first time at the fair. The system prevents overheating with its open-bolt (open mechanism) structure; It draws attention with its high firing rate, unshakable reliability and flexible structure that adapts to the changing conditions of the modern battlefield.
Cost-effective solution against drone threats The Distributed Mobile Layered Air Defense Architecture signed by UNIROBOTICS, which was launched last month, will continue to be one of the focal points at SAHA 2026. This smart architecture developed against modern drone (C-UAS) threats; TRAKON RCWS (Remote Controlled Weapon Systems) brings together CANiK heavy machine gun family and VENOM LR medium caliber gun system components in a single integrated network.
