During the press tour, the SAR9 SP Special pistol, SAR Drone Killer rifle, SAR 556 MT machine gun, the new version of SARBOT, BEST Defense Concealable UKSS and TR Mekatronik 20 mm 6-barreled gun were introduced as parts of Sarsılmaz’s integrated defense architecture.
Developed by LA2 Dynamics, SARBOT was designed to provide effective solutions in reconnaissance-surveillance and high-risk armed intervention missions without risking human life. The world premiere of the new version of SARBOT, positioned as Turkey’s first armed robot, developed with 0 Turkish engineering, is planned to be held at SAHA EXPO 2026. The 6-barreled 20 mm gun system, developed by SARSILMAZ – TUSAŞ Partnership TR Mekatronik, is developed entirely with domestic resources, from design to production, and by choosing components that will not create export restrictions.
The system, which has a localization rate of over 100,000, will be exhibited at SAHA EXPO 2026 as a strong indicator of the engineering level TR Mekatronik has reached in the field of medium-caliber weapon systems. The concealable 7.62 mm UKSS system developed by BEST Defense is designed for missions that require low visibility and fast reaction capability. The system also allows 5.56 mm integration; SAHA will be among the prominent solutions at EXPO 2026 with its structure compatible with civilian vehicles, its configuration that provides a low risk of provocation in fixed facilities, and its ability to be activated quickly when needed.
The SAR Drone Killer system and radar platforms developed against unmanned aerial vehicles, which have become one of the most critical threats of today, were among the prominent solutions during the press tour. The system, which was developed to provide high durability and operational reliability in harsh field conditions with its body, mechanism and compatible accessories, was introduced through a destruction scenario.
SAR 556 MT, developed to provide a solution to Turkey’s light machine gun needs with domestic engineering, was one of the products that attracted attention in the program with its structure suitable for both infantry use and platform integration. SAR9 SP Special was designed as the most advanced platform of the SAR9 series, developed in line with the operational needs of the Special Forces Command and with real-use feedback obtained from the field.
Combining power, precision, durability and operational flexibility in the same structure, the model was presented as a high-performance solution developed in accordance with the ÖKK standard. Sarsılmaz aims to make the engineering, production and integration capabilities of the Turkish defense industry visible on an international scale through this holistic structure that it will exhibit together with its group companies at SAHA EXPO 2026.
