Embraer and ALADA – Empresa de Projetos Aeroespaciais do Brasil S.A. signed a memorandum of understanding to evaluate potential business opportunities in the defense and security markets. The companies announced the agreement within the scope of FIDAE 2026. The agreement focuses on government-to-government (G2G) procurement models. ALADA was recently authorized by the Brazilian Ministry of Defense to carry out such operations on behalf of the country’s defense industry.

It was stated that the memorandum of understanding aims to evaluate opportunities for the export of defense products and services within the scope of G2G frameworks, which are frequently preferred especially in Latin America and Africa. According to the companies, the agreement; It aims to support access to new markets and facilitate negotiations regarding the platforms in Embraer’s defense portfolio. These platforms include the KC-390 Millennium and A-29 Super Tucano.
