Pakistan International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2026 has been officially cancelled, according to an announcement published on the fair’s official website. The event was planned to be held at the Karachi Fair Center between 24-27 November 2026, and its organization was carried out by the Defense Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) operating under the Ministry of Defense of Pakistan. Within the scope of the “Official Announcement” published on the IDEAS website, it was stated that all visitor and participant registrations were permanently closed and the event would not take place as planned.
According to the announcement, the organizers’ reason for stopping the fair was; The current expression “Geo-Strategic Confusion” was used. This decision pointed out that all components of the fair, including trade visitors, participating companies and stand founders, could be in a negative situation. It was stated that online registration portals have been closed and applications are no longer accepted. No information has been announced as to whether an alternative event or future date is planned.
Organizers have not stated whether IDEAS will return at a later year. For now, the official website reports that IDEAS 2026 has been canceled and all registration activities have been terminated.
