According to the information shared by GIGABYTE, the new system offers up to 75 percent higher NPU performance compared to the previous generation and reaches up to 50 TOPS NPU power. This hardware structure is used in artificial intelligence extraction, real-time data processing and in-house artificial intelligence applications. The new BRIX Mainstream model has a 0.46 liter case and is 35 mm thin. The ultra-compact structure makes it easy to place the device in commercial environments with space constraints.

The system is configured for low-latency on-premises computing, on-premises data processing, and privacy-preserving AI applications. The flagship model of the series, GB-BRU9-386H, is based on the Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor. The processor has a 16-core structure and includes 4 performance cores, 8 efficiency cores and 4 low power efficiency cores. The power value of the processor was announced as 28W. The structure, which combines CPU, GPU and NPU components on the same platform, is used for artificial intelligence and workloads that require intensive processing.

On the graphics side, there is built-in Intel Graphics. The platform offers 2.5 GHz graphics frequency and up to 40 TOPS of GPU computing power. On the NPU side, there is a performance value of up to 50 TOPS. This structure; It can be used in machine vision, artificial intelligence inference, smart robotics applications and real-time data processing scenarios. Two different structures are offered on the memory side. The system provides memory support up to 5600 MHz and a maximum capacity of 96 GB through two SO-DIMM DDR5 slots.

On the CSO-DIMM DDR5 side, speeds up to 6400 MHz and maximum capacity of 128 GB are supported through two slots. GIGABYTE states in the announcement text that the system offers DDR5-6400 memory support up to 128 GB. On the storage side, there are two M.2 slots. The first slot offers PCIe Gen5 x4 support for M.2 M Key 2280 SSD. The second slot comes with PCIe Gen4 x4 and SATA support for M.2 M Key 2280 SSD. This structure can be used for fast system disk and additional storage installations.

BRIX GB-BRU9-386H comes with wide connection options for integration with different devices and systems. The device supports 2.5G LAN, Intel Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Wireless and wired connection structure is used for multi-device integration and real-time data transfer. There are two HDMI 2.1 connections on the video outputs side. HDMI connections can output 60 Hz at a resolution of 7680 x 2160 pixels and offer FRL and CEC support.

The device also has two USB4 Type-C connections with DisplayPort 2.1 Alt Mode support. With these connections, up to four 4K screen outputs can be output in total. On the USB side, there are three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A connections. Dual HDMI 2.1, dual USB4 Type-C, 2.5G LAN and Wi-Fi 7 structure enable the device to be directly integrated into health, surveillance, factory, robotics and retail systems. GIGABYTE also positions the new BRIX model for smart health applications.

The system can be used for on-site artificial intelligence inference and high-resolution image processing tasks in applications such as bone marrow smear analysis and colonoscopy image analysis. In this usage, low latency, data privacy and integration with hospital IT infrastructure stand out. In surveillance systems, BRIX GB-BRU9-386H can be used in multi-screen monitoring, intrusion detection and decision support processes.

Dual HDMI 2.1 and dual USB4 connections support up to four 4K display outputs. This structure offers a suitable basis for security centers and multi-screen monitoring systems. On the smart factory and robotics side, the system can be used for machine vision, warehouse logistics, deep learning, autonomous mobile robots, robot arms and edge gateway installations. On the retail side, it offers a mini PC structure suitable for digital displays and self-checkout systems.

GIGABYTE exhibits the BRIX GB-BRU9-386H model at COMPUTEX 2026. The device is displayed to visitors at the GIGABYTE booth in area K0802. A smart health use case is also presented at the fair in collaboration with aetherAI. This demonstration shows how next-generation edge AI mini PCs can be used in on-premise, privacy-preserving AI deployments across industries.
