KARABÜK (AA) – Two university students died on a motorcycle that crashed into a lighting pole in Karabük. The motorcycle with plate number 78 MA 0851, driven by Jordanian national Mohammed Ömer Abdelaziz Salman (24), went out of control on Şehit Ateşe Reşat Moralı Boulevard at night and crashed into the lighting pole in the median. Upon notice, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. It was determined that the driver of the motorcycle, which skidded about 110 meters, and Zahid Ali Abdallah Alsmadi (23), who was with him, lost their lives.
After examination, the bodies were taken to the morgue of Karabük Training and Research Hospital. It was understood that Salman’s driver’s license was insufficient for the type of vehicle he was driving.
