According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), the Turkish defense and aerospace sector exported 962 million dollars in April 2024. Presidency Defense Industry (SSB) President Haluk Görgün stated in his post on his social media account that the Turkish defense and aerospace industry continued its rise in April. Görgün used the following statements in his post: “Our Defense and Aviation Industry Continued Its Rise in April.
While 962 million dollars of exports were achieved in April 2026, in the January-April period, this figure reached 2 billion 871 million dollars, an increase compared to the same period of the previous year. This performance achieved despite increasing competition and uncertainties on a global scale is a strong reflection of our high value-added production capability, systems proven to be effective in the field, and sustainable export strategy.
