Armelsan Defense Technologies, operating as one of Turkey’s leading defense technologies companies, announced that it has successfully completed the SAHA 2026 International Defense, Aerospace Industry Fair, held at Istanbul Expo Center between 5-9 May. In a video post on its social media accounts, Armelsan said, “We have successfully completed SAHA 2026. We would like to thank all our guests, stakeholders and valuable representatives of our defense industry who visited our stand during the fair and showed great interest in our domestic and national technologies.
We would like to thank everyone who made great efforts in the realization of this organization, which proves to the whole world the point our country has reached in the defense industry. Hope to see you at SAHA 2028.” He stated: Armelsan, which introduced its newest technologies, especially Turkey’s first domestic diving sonar, Orkun-2053 Helicopter Diving Sonar, to its visitors and introduced its products and capabilities to local and foreign delegations at SAHA 2026, hosted the leading names of the Turkish defense industry at its stand.
Armelsan also signed an important agreement within the scope of SAHA 2026. Armelsan and TAI officials held the “GÖKBEY and ORKUN-2053 Helicopter Dipping Sonar Integration Cooperation Signing Ceremony”. It was reported that this cooperation will contribute to increasing integrated capabilities between air and naval platforms and aims to pave the way for innovative and sustainable solutions in the defense industry.
