Bilkom announced that it has expanded its consumer electronics portfolio with HyperShell, which develops wearable robotic technologies. Within the scope of the collaboration, HyperShell’s exoskeleton products will be offered to the Turkish market with the assurance of Bilkom. HyperShell products; It focuses on usage scenarios such as hiking, outdoor sports, cycling, travel, photography and field activities that require high effort.

The product family aims to support the user’s movement, reduce physical effort and make the active life experience more comfortable. HyperShell X Series offers artificial intelligence-supported motion detection. HyperShell X Series; It consists of X Go, X Pro, X Carbon and X Ultra models. The series uses an artificial intelligence-supported motion detection system called AI MotionEngine. This system processes the data from the sensors and adjusts the support level according to the user’s tempo, inclination and direction of movement.

The exoskeleton structure helps relieve the physical load, especially during leg lifting and forward pushing. This structure can provide advantages in areas such as long walks, difficult terrain conditions, shootings that require carrying equipment and field work. The X Ultra model comes with high-end features. The upper segment model of the series, HyperShell X Ultra; It stands out with its carbon fiber and titanium alloy structure, 12 adaptive support modes, a battery range of up to 30 kilometers and a power output of up to 1000 W.

According to the information shared by the company, X Ultra can reduce physical effort by up to 39 percent under certain usage conditions and reduce the average heart rate by up to 42 percent. These data show that the product is positioned as a supportive technology, especially in long-term and high-effort activities. Wearable robotics opens a new field in consumer technologies. Until now, wearable robotic products were mostly associated with industrial applications, health technologies and professional field use.

However, with the emergence of lighter, portable and user-friendly exoskeleton solutions, this category is also becoming visible on the consumer electronics side. Outdoor sports, personal mobility, ergonomics and active life trends can expand the usage area of these products. On the other hand, wearable robotic products are becoming widespread; It will be shaped by price level, battery life, weight, ease of use, maintenance need and how quickly users will adapt to this new category.

HyperShell products, which will be positioned through Bilkom sales and service network, will be delivered to users in Turkey through Bilkom’s channel structure and after-sales service network. Bilkom Product Group Manager Dilek Çinçin stated that wearable robotic technologies are one of the new areas that attract attention in consumer technologies and that they aim to make this category more visible in Turkey in cooperation with HyperShell.

Bilkom’s HyperShell move can be considered as a part of the company’s strategy to expand its consumer electronics portfolio beyond classical smart devices. The equivalent of the products in the Turkish market will become clear with the real usage experience, pricing and after-sales support performance.
