ESSAV Technology, which participated in the SAHA EXPO 2026 International Defense, Aerospace Industry Fair held at Istanbul Expo Center between 5-9 May, attracted great attention from both domestic and foreign visitors. While the company held important contacts regarding the future of the sector within the scope of the fair, it also held various meetings for new collaborations. Especially the 40×46, 40×53 and 40×51 millimeter ammunition produced by ESSAV Technology were among the products that attracted the most attention from foreign delegations.
In his statement to Defensehere.com within the scope of the fair, ESSAV Technology Chairman Erkan Seçkin stated that SAHA EXPO 2026 was productive for the company and said, “It was a good fair for ESSAV Technology. Our products were received with admiration and appreciation by both foreign delegations and Turkish officials. As a result, we are trying to produce qualified and high-quality products.” he said. Stating that foreign delegations showed great interest especially in training ammunition, Seçkin said, “What attracted the attention of foreign delegations the most was a type of ammunition that we produced and are good in our field, such as 40×46, 40×53, 40×51.
Products that they are very interested in and in high demand. Since they are training ammunition, they are products that all armies must use for training and exercise purposes. Therefore, its circulation and demand is high. “We are trying to respond to these demands by increasing our capacity,” he said. Emphasizing that SAHA EXPO 2026 is on its way to becoming one of the largest defense industry fairs in Europe, Seçkin stated that ESSAV Technology took part in Turkey with its own stand for the first time.
Seçkin said, “For the first time, ESSAV Technology exhibited its products by establishing its own stand in Turkey, apart from international fairs. We have great pleasure in introducing local and national products developed by our own engineers. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to exhibit our newly developed products at future fairs.” he said. Referring to the growth targets of the company, Seçkin said that ESSAV Technology aims to expand its product range by increasing its investments.
New Era in Artillery Ammunition Giving information about the investment plans for the next period, Seçkin announced that the company is also working on new projects in the field of artillery ammunition. “As ESSAV Technology, we have studies on artillery ammunition called 105, 122, 152 and 155 millimeters in our future investment plans. We make our investment program accordingly and organize our machinery park accordingly.
We shape all processes and production lines in line with this goal. We will expand our product portfolio by implementing these investments in the coming period.” he said. Appearing with its own stand for the first time at SAHA EXPO 2026, ESSAV Technology once again revealed its growth targets in the field of defense industry with the meetings it held and the products it exhibited during the fair.
