While the developments in international markets directly affected fuel prices, cautious signals of reconciliation between the USA and Iran also caused a decrease in fuel prices. In this context, while the barrel price of Brent oil fell below the 100 dollar level, there was an expectation of a reduction in fuel prices in Turkey. While the strengthening signs that the war in the Middle East may end provided relief in the energy markets, the decrease in supply concerns with the tankers allowed by Iran to pass through the Strait of Hormuz contributed to the decline in oil prices.
Thus, the Brent oil price dropped below 100 dollars. 87 KURUS DISCOUNT Following this softening in the energy markets, industry sources stated that a discount in gasoline prices is expected. Accordingly, while it was stated that the discount of 3 lira and 27 kurus will be reflected in the pump prices tonight, it was noted that the entire discount may not be reflected in the pump due to tax regulations and the ecel mobile system.
It was stated that if a deduction is made within the scope of the system, the net discount felt by the citizens will be at the level of 82 kuruş.
