MEDEF, one of Turkey’s ammunition manufacturers, attended the IWA 2025 Fair held in Nuremberg, Germany, and introduced its growth in the European market and its activities in light caliber ammunition production. Medef Purchasing Manager Berat Aksoy spoke to DefenseHere microphones at the fair and explained both the benefits they gained from Medef Europe and their gains from the fair. Berat Aksoy said: “We have new connections in Europe, thanks to Medef Europe, which is our new formation in Italy.
We have many new connections in Europe thanks to our new formation, which allows us to make shipments faster. Thanks to this fair, we had the opportunity to meet with all of these connections. We can say that IWA was very successful for us this year. Especially thanks to Medef Europe, our hand has become very strong in Europe on the components and capsules side. In this fair, we have especially highlighted these, especially the capsule side.
I can say that we introduced ourselves to the European market. First of all, thanks to the Enforce Tac fair that existed in Europe before the IWA fair, I believe that only real participants attended the IWA fair. For us, it was a fair where we created not only the participants or connections we had planned and met before, but also new connections. We love this feature of the IWA fair. It is the best fair in Europe in this regard.
