Miilux OY, OYAK’s domestic and national armor steel producing company, and Koluman, which operates in the fields of motor vehicles, engineering and military superstructure production, signed a technical cooperation protocol for the defense industry at SAHA 2026. SAHA 2026 International Defense, Aerospace Industry Fair is being held at Istanbul Expo Center with the organization of SAHA Istanbul, the largest defense, aviation and space industry cluster of Türkiye and Europe.
At the fair, where Anadolu Agency (AA) is the Global Communication Partner, Miilux OY and Koluman companies signed a cooperation agreement aiming to establish a long-term and sustainable industrial partnership by bringing together their expertise in engineering, production and material technologies. While the protocol was signed by Miilux OY General Manager Yavuz Yeldan and Koluman Automotive General Manager Cengiz Adak, OYAK Chairman Zekai Aksakallı, OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş, Miilux OY Chairman Erdinç Kocayanak and Koluman Holding Chairman Selçuk Kaan Saltık Adak also attended the ceremony.
In his statement at the signing ceremony, OYAK General Manager Yalçıntaş stated that they see the development of local and national capabilities in the defense industry as a strategic priority. In this context, Yalçıntaş stated that they hope that the technical cooperation signed between Miilux OY and Koluman will turn into a permanent and sustainable industrial partnership in terms of future defense programs as well as current projects, and said: “This cooperation will further strengthen our production and technology development capacity with the integration of complementary engineering and technology competencies, and will take the value chain of the domestic defense industry ecosystem to an advanced level.
As OYAK, we will expand our role in the defense industry on a long-term basis on the axis of production capacity, technology development power and strategic partnerships.” We continue to develop with perspective.” Meanwhile, Miilux OY, the manufacturer of heat-treated high-strength steels of strategic importance for Turkey, will continue to exhibit its new generation armor steels and advanced technology products developed under the Miilux Protection brand at the fair until May 9.
