ISTANBUL (AA) – Goran Pandev, the sports director of the national teams in North Macedonia, stated that Türkiye did a very good job in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and said that they will support the star and crescent team in the organization. Pandev answered the questions of members of the press during the last training session of North Macedonia, which will play with the National Team in a special match tomorrow, at Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saraçoğlu Sports Complex.
Goran Pandev, who won the UEFA Champions League title with Inter in 2010 in his football career and played for Galatasaray in the 2014-2015 season, said: “I always feel great in this country. It will be a very important match tomorrow. We know what a quality team Türkiye is. They did wonders on the way to the World Cup. We watched this with pride. Türkiye gained incredible momentum after Montella took office. I wish you success in the World Cup.
As North Macedonia, we will always be on Türkiye’s side. he said. Expressing his satisfaction in coming to Türkiye again, the 42-year-old football man said, “I spent very valuable times in Galatasaray. We won the league championship. I have many friends in this country. I feel very happy every time I come. My family also loves Galatasaray. We always wish Galatasaray success throughout our lives. he said.
