GAZİANTEP (AA) – Zeugma Mosaic Museum, where many important works, especially the world-famous Gypsy Girl mosaic, are exhibited, hosted 49 thousand 733 visitors during the 9-day Eid al-Adha holiday. Zeugma Mosaic Museum, where hundreds of works such as the Gypsy Girl, the Mars statue, fountains from the Roman period and mosaics found in villas on the banks of the Euphrates River were exhibited, became a popular destination for visitors during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
49 thousand 733 people visited the museum, which also received the Presidential Culture and Art Grand Prize, during the holiday. Gift Beşikçi, who came from Samsun, stated that she came to Gaziantep to see the Zeugma museum and said, “I was very pleased, there was an extreme crowd.” I liked it, there are beautiful works. he said. Kamil Bahtiyar, who came from Konya Beyşehir, said: We brought our friends and children, we wanted them to visit and see historical places.
We are also visiting Zeugma, I have been to Gaziantep before, but this is my first time here. We came late, it was busy, but this place does it justice. he said.
