MUŞ (AA) – Kızılağaç Canyon, which stands out with its natural beauties in Muş, has become one of the most preferred places for those who want to spend time in touch with nature during the Eid al-Adha holiday. The canyon, which is 20 kilometers away from the center, attracts attention with its stream flowing for 2 kilometers through steep rocks and its natural beauties. City residents and people from different provinces who wanted to make the most of the Eid al-Adha holiday took nature walks on the paths along the canyon and tried to cool off by walking in the water.
Hacer Olcay, one of the visitors, told the AA correspondent that they brought their guests from Isparta and Diyarbakır to Kızılağaç Canyon. Stating that the city has many historical and natural beauties to visit, Olcay said, “Our guests were amazed here. We wanted to make the most of the holiday. We had a picnic, danced halay, drank tea in the samovar, and walked on the paths. It was a beautiful day. We need to protect these natural beauties.” he said.
Mehmet Sait Toksun, who came from Bursa, stated that they spent the Eid al-Adha holiday in Muş. Stating that he was amazed by the nature and atmosphere of the city, Toksun said, “We heard that Kızılağaç Canyon was beautiful and came here. It really was as said. I recommend it to everyone, come and see it. It is more popular in the summer months and citizens show more interest. The flow rate is a little high now. “We had a nice time.” he said.
Murat Akalın stated that he saw Kızılağaç Canyon for the first time and said, “We came here with our friends and family on the last day of the holiday. It’s a very beautiful place. It is ideal for spending time with the family. “I recommend everyone to see these beauties.” he said.
