TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, which will be held at Gölcük Shipyard Command on 20-23 August within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2026, will bring together technology enthusiasts around maritime and underwater technologies. According to the statement made by TEKNOFEST, TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, which was held for the first time in Istanbul last year, was held with intense participation. The event, within the scope of TEKNOFEST, the world’s largest aviation, space and technology festival, stands out with its rich content and competitions ranging from domestic and national marine vehicles to underwater technologies.

TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, which will be held on 20-23 August this year, under the main leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of National Defense and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and hosted by the Gölcük Shipyard Command, aims to build a strong future vision around local and national technologies by bringing Turkey’s maritime power and advanced technology capability to young generations.

At the event, young minds will turn their dreams into technology with the Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition, Underwater Rocket Competition and Unmanned Marine Vehicle Competition. Young engineer candidates and entrepreneurs will also shape Turkey’s maritime future with the projects they develop. During the event, TEKNOFEST stakeholder institutions will also take part in the stand areas, promoting their activities and interacting with visitors.

TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland will host many events including exhibitions where important ships of the navy can be visited, virtual reality playgrounds that can be experienced with virtual reality glasses, competitions aiming to keep maritime culture alive, special areas where visitors can take souvenir photographs, demonstrations by SAT and SAS Command personnel, experience areas reflecting maritime history, various conferences and exhibitions.
