A Dark Journey into Baki’s Inner World The released new season trailer reveals the deep and isolated bond that Baki (Ahmet Kural), the main character of the series, has with the dead. In the trailer, Baki’s words, “I have more loved ones under the ground than those above me.
I know how to treat a dead person much better than how to treat a living being,” prove how detached the character is from society. In addition to the heavy drama, the subtle black humor dialogues such as “I brought a fresh corpse, boss” and “We don’t say that” that stand out in the trailer show that the series will present its absurd tone in a much more refined way in the new season. At the close of the trailer, Baki tells us the inevitable truth of his profession: “You will all die!” His scream is already a candidate to be the most talked about moment of the season.
